The Telegraph 18-09-2012  Today's DVmen.co.uk award for gender bias in the field of domestic abuse goes to this article that start s 'Men who emotionally abuse their partners by controlling their finances, preventing them from seeing friends or verbally abusing them could soon be prosecuted under domestic violence laws, it has been claimed.'  Read further into the article and they state correctly that the proposal applies to both men and women but they have already set the scene with a biased statement.
